Newcastle, NSW

In 2011, I went to Newcastle, NSW with a couple of friends. We stayed at one of our friends place who studied there. To be honest, there is not much thing you can do over here. However, it is really a good place to escape from the city bustle. We went to couple of beautiful beaches and spent most of our time touring around the town.

Newcastle produces great wine and this is the place where you could have free wine testing at the farm.

Turon Gates, Blue Mountains NSW

In the autumn of 2013 my family and my girlfriend’s family went camping in the icy cold Blue Mountains. Turon Gates is just past the small town of Capertee. The camp site is in a valley with a beautiful river flowing just beside the campsite.

There are lots to do at the Turon Gates camping site including horseback riding, hiking, 4x4 trails and fishing. It is also a great escape from the everyday rush as you will have absolutely no reception on your mobile phone. We had to drive up out of the valley to find any signal what so ever. It was really a fantastic holiday and I would definitely go there again.

Nambucca Heads, NSW

In late 2011 after I finished my HSC my family went camping in Nambucca Heads. My Friend Keiran came along. We had a fantastic time. The campsite is situated just behind the rock wall of the river mouth so it is nice and close to the water. There are some spectacular beaches within a five minute walk of the camp site.

If you go up to the top of the head, you will find a spectacular view of the surrounding area and river mouth. We did not get to experience all the beaches and surrounding area as the weather was not that great for the week that we were there so I would really enjoy returning to Nambucca Heads.
