In late 2011 after I finished my HSC my family went camping
in Nambucca Heads. My Friend Keiran came along. We had a fantastic time. The
campsite is situated just behind the rock wall of the river mouth so it is nice
and close to the water. There are some spectacular beaches within a five minute
walk of the camp site.
If you go up to the top of the head, you will find a
spectacular view of the surrounding area and river mouth. We did not get to
experience all the beaches and surrounding area as the weather was not that
great for the week that we were there so I would really enjoy returning to
Nambucca Heads.
