In 2012 family and I went camping at Merry Beach on the
southern coast of New South Wales. We took our Dog, Christie with us as it was
a dog friendly camp site. The camp site is situated just behind the sand dunes
but you could still see the ocean as the dunes were quite low.
At the camp site Kangaroos were a common site and I even
tripped over a few on my way to the toilet. The only down side was that there
was Kangaroo poo everywhere. The beach was quite beautiful and the water was
nice and warm as we went towards the end of summer.
